Single, Sexy, Carefree: Hotstepper To Housewife/Husband

M4M cuddling Anime style.
In my trials and tribulations as a forty-something single black gay male, I’ve adopted the attitude that, “it gets greater later” and “forty is the new twenty”. Dating, for me, has been a roller coaster of goods, greats, bads, and worse. Through all of those events, I've still maintained my, “I owe it to me to be happy” and “Its all about me” mentality. Heck, the Pussycat Dolls “I Don’t Need A Man” has been my walking/stomping song.

PCD "I Dont Need A Man" still
In the imagined war between the singles and married/coupled/boo’d up I’ve always represented for the single, yet happy guy. “Love will find me, til then Imma live”.

Spring has sprung and that means that it's only a matter of months until summer rears it's hot head and all of the gays hit the beach! Whether you're going to be on the East Coast laid up at the beaches on Fire Island, somewhere on the West Coast sizzling in San Diego, or in the South partying it up in Miami, you're going to need some swim shorts. Let's get started early and check out some of our favorites this year!

The Double Overheads
My first choice from Chubbies goes to the double overhead, which are almost giving me full LGBT realness [too bad there's not a hint of orange]. $64.50
 The Wonder Boards
Ok, so these are nowhere near my favorite on the list, but I had to include them anyway. Yas shorts! You are giving me wonderbread realness, and the

LGBT Representation in Grand Theft Auto

Grand Theft Auto is a very popular gang-based action games (as I’m sure many of you are aware). They portray a simulation of life that many games don’t, and that’s the seedy underbelly of a city setting—mob ties, drug deals, everything like that. They make many events, characters, and features very over-exaggerated--explosions, sex appeal, anything you can think of. They definitely appeal to an 18-24 male demographic. As such one wouldn't think there'd be much outside of the above within the game. However, it is actually very interesting to observe these games in the context of LGBT representation. Being the kind of games they are, one wouldn't think that they are or would be known for their portrayal of this, and they aren't.

But that’s what makes them so great.

Think about it, in these games there are characters which show traits, if it’s not completely obvious up front, of being members of the LGBT community. I’ll start with Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. I’m choosing that one because GTA prior to GTA 3 were before my time. I only watched my brother play 3 when our mom would let me. He had some funny stories about that game—but that’s something for another time.
In Vice City, you play as Tommy Vercetti, the same character from GTA 3. His lawyer in this game, Ken Rosenberg, subtly portrays some LGBT undertones, in that he is a more effeminate character within the game. His clothing choice is also rather colorful—though that was the

Are Fang and Vanille Gay?

So something that is hotly contested among the Final Fantasy fandom is whether or not Fang and Vanille, two of the party characters in the (somewhat) more recent FF13, are gay lovers or not. I’m hoping to do this without giving away too much of the story, and so you can form your own opinions as its not the most clear conundrum.
Based on my playing of the game and seeing these rumors float around after I finished it, I’d say no. I have reasons! After seeing how these two women interacted throughout the story of the game, and the kind of bond they have, led me to these conclusions. Both of them coming from the same doomed world, and being reinvigorated within Lightning’s world have a profound bond. Throughout most of the game, they both seem to interact with each

Is Free! Iwatobi Swim Club "Gay"?

No doubt, if you're gay and an anime fan, then you've more than likely heard about Free! - Iwatobi Swim Club, a Japanese anime television series directed by Hiroko Utsumi and produced by Kyoto Animation and Animation Do., based on the novel High Speed!, written by Koji Oji.

A acquaintance of mine recommended the anime to me, knowing that I am a sucker for impossibly cute and fit anime guys as well as swimming. Without revealing any of the plot to me, he posted a few pictures from the series (seen in this post) and told me to give it a go. Luckily, for me, Free! is only 12 episodes long ( don't see how you Otakus out there are able to sit through 400+ episode anime), so it was easy for me to marathon in a week.

Early on, one will notice that this series has a lot of... sexual tension. I'm sure that Utsumi and his team knew exactly what they were doing with all of that fan service. We're talking biceps, triceps, abs, legs, and everything in between. The anime is

Matter of Faith: Can You Be Muslim and Gay?

When it comes to matters of religion and faith as they relate to homosexuality, there is a great divide in opinion. Here, Edugaytion's Danny gives his opinion on being Muslim and gay.
