Catholic Students Protest the Firing of Gay Principal

Many of the students at East Side High School in Sammamish, Washington are continuing the protest both in their local area as well as on the internet. Hundreds of students have participated in a sit in protest in the schools cafeteria after their vice principal, Mark Zmuda was forced to resign for marrying a man.

Zmuda's marriage is in clear violation of the Catholic Church's stance on gay marriage, and that's why the students at East Side feel that the Catholic Church needs to change. A petition on Change.org has been started, and has gained over two thousand signatures already. Many have taken to Twitter, using the hashtag #KeepMrZ2013 to stand against this antiquated injustice.

Mr. Zmuda has released the following statement,

Duck Dynasty's Phil Robertson Reveals Himself to be a Religious Quack with Anti Gay Remarks

In a recent interview with GQ Magazine, Phil Robertson (which will be released in the January issue) made some pretty not-so-stunning revelations about how he chooses to believe with regards to homosexuals:

"everything is blurred on what's right and what's wrong ... sin becomes fine... Start with homosexual behavior and just morph out from there — bestiality, sleeping around with this woman and that woman and that woman and those men."

Robertson continues:

"Don't be deceived. Neither the adulterers, the idolaters, the male prostitutes, the homosexual offenders, the greedy, the drunkards, the slanderers, the swindlers — they won’t inherit the kingdom of God. Don't deceive yourself. It's not right."

...and continues...

"It seems to me, a vagina — as a man — would be more desirable than a man's anus," he explained. "That's just me. I'm just thinking, 'There's more there! She's got more to offer.' I mean, come on, dudes! You know what I’m saying? But hey, sin: It's not logical, my man. It's just not logical."

Very shortly after, GLAAD spokesman William Cruz responded:

Say What? You Made a D on Your Final but have All of Beyonce's New Album MEMORIZED?

On Friday, the 13th of December, 2013, the iconic Beyonce Knowles dropped her album Beyonce via iTunes. A full album, in the middle of the night, unannounced, and not a single leak. She literally took the world by surprise. Only Queen Bey. This is sure to be one of those moments that we will all reflect on, years down the road. It will be one of those events that we will be able to recall effortlessly.

The day Beyonce released her album, I was in a web conference with the guys of Edugaytion planning for the next two episodes of the Bottom Line podcast. Ian was sitting in the McDonald's drive thru when he suddenly casually said "Well, apparently Beyonce just released a new album." There was no response. I'm not sure what the others were doing, but it took me a good ten to fifteen seconds to see, digest, internalize, and process what the hugest Beyonce stan I have ever known had just calmly communicated.

"WHAT?" I exclaimed. The thread was silent. I knew, then, what the guys were doing. We were all checking various social media. Google hadn't even caught wind of the story yet, it was literally at midnight. At that point, "Beyonce" on a Google News search only yielded articles about her upcoming tour. It was twitter that confirmed what I had believed was surely a misfire.

I watched the internet world react as the goddess of music snatched the collective wigs of the entire industry without even speaking a word. I was surprised that iTunes held up under what surely must have been the enormous pressure of the Beyhive's Black Friday-Like rush to the iTunes store. Within minutes

Let Them Eat Cake! Judge Rules Baker Must Serve Homosexuals.

A Colorado judge is ruling that a baker must provide cakes to gays despite the baker's religious beliefs. WorldDuh.com reports:

The order from administrative law judge Robert N. Spencer said Masterpiece Cakeshop in suburban Denver discriminated against a couple “because of their sexual orientation by refusing to sell them a wedding cake for their same-sex marriage.”

The order says the cake-maker must “cease and desist from discriminating” against gay couples. Although the judge did not impose fines in this case, the business will face penalties if it continues to turn away gay couples who want to buy cakes.

But this entire situation just raises a lot of questions in my head. For one, isn't this a violation of some sort of right to ignorance? I mean, it's not that  much of a stretch to imagine that there are still people in the world,

We have a lot of readers who classify as "Gaymers", so we thought it'd be fun to share this little article from PCGMedia.com. Chi Villafuerte reports:
